Do you have a current Starguard certification? Prepare for future employment before your certification expires. It's less expensive and it takes half the time! This review, for certified StarGuard, will include First Aid/CPR. skill audits and any updates on policy and procedures. Lifeguard renewals will be a hybrid of online learning and in person water and dry-land skills checks. Training groups will be reduced to 10 people, including instructors to keep class pods small. You only need to register for one training and we highly encourage you to train with family members or others who are currently in your outside of work social circle to help keep pods similar. **This class could be subject to change depending on OHA COVID-19 Guidelines. We will keep you informed if things change. **Important information about the class: Please come to class in your swimsuit as you may not have access to change while at the facility. All water portions of the class will be towards the end of class, so you can leave when class is over. Please bring your lifeguard book, your pocket mask, hip pack, face coverings, swimsuit a pen or pencil. No person shall be permitted entry to class if any of the following signs or symptoms were present in the last 72 hours. Temperature greater than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, Coughing, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell or, Close contact with person with any of the above symptoms or known COVID-19. Lifeguard Certification must be CURRENT through first day of class or client cannot register for this class! StarGuard Lifeguard recertification for lifeguards with current StarGuard Lifeguard Certification.
