About this event
Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Sunday, October 29, 2023.
Archery is great for exercise, sport, relaxation, competition, and a fun, personal challenge to hit the bullseye! Try Archery and if you like it, join us for lessons and other special club events. You'll be using the Genesis Bow, a terrific starter compound bow that is used in the National Archery in Schools program (NASP). It's a great family bow usable by youth, seniors, and all ages in between. It's adjustable to a 20 pound draw weight, and can be used from a 15 in draw length, all the way up to 30 in.Parent or guardian's permission is required for those under 18.
MANDATORY: Closed toe shoes. No long un-banded hair, no dangling earrings, or other jewelry that might get caught in the bowstring when you shoot. No baggy shirt sleeves.
RECOMMENDED: Dress in layers so you can adapt to weather conditions. Bring rain gear if rain is in the weather forecast.
VERY IMPORTANT: Pack out any trash you have for drinks or snacks. Leave no trace you were in the Park!
