Join us for our 11th annual fundraising event, The Ride to the Rock, on September 30, 2023! Get ready to take in the beautiful scenic views that the Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer; all the while challenging yourself to complete tough mountain climbs. The ride begins in Pickens and challenges riders with 3 routes to choose from: 40K, 60K and 100K rides.
The ride will start at 114 W Main Street, Pickens SC and travel north to see amazing views of the Table Rock Mountains and be challenged by the uphill ascents and curvy roads.
To review the routes go to our website ridetotherock.org for links to preview the routes. The 40K and the 60K routes have been changed slightly due to a conflict with another event. The routes still go to the Pumpkintown area but will return to Pickens by a different route.The Metric Century will climb Highway 178 towards Rosman, North Carolina before returning to Pickens. Likewise the Metric Century route has also changed due to the conflicting event. Please go to ridetotherock.org to preview the new routes.
The rides are fully supported with a SAG vehicle and 4 rest stops. Day of ride registration begins at 8am and the ride will start at 9am.
This year we will have a complimentary post ride meal with a beer garden from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
