Do you play an instrument but are not confident that you are ready to play with other people yet? This class gives you all the basic tools necessary to play in a combo with others. Whether you play a rhythm section instrument, horns or sing, this class is designed to provide you with the necessary information to be a successful member in a jazz combo. During the course of a semester class you will learn subjects like repertoire and study fundamental aspects of music such as basic  jazz theory, time, rhythm, the language of jazz and most importantly how to play with other people. This class will meet on Monday evenings from 6-8pm at The Nash Education Center from August 24 - December 7th.
