About this event
The Fife-Penn CS Academy coding clubs use the Scratch programming language to teach computer science concepts such as loops, conditional statements, variables, arrays, threads, user interface design, and boolean logic. An understanding of these concepts is required for all programming languages. Taught by Penn Computer Science students in Penn Engineering, club participants will learn concepts through creating games and animations in Scratch. Students will also be introduced to the Python programming language. (Please note: The cost to enroll is only a registration fee. This club is remote. There will be no sessions on Feb 20 or March 27.)
