Description

Expand your stylistic parameters and learn classic Motown tunes on the ukulele. You'll not only be learning timeless soul and R&B tunes and adding variety to your uke repertoire, but you'll be improving your playing skills and be adding to your repertoire with some iconic rhythm & blues and soul songs. Then, with practice and determination, you'll be playing songs by legendary artists such as The Four Tops, The Temptations, The Jackson 5, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, and others. Pre-requisite: Yes You Can Play The Ukulele (or similar intro class or be self-taught and be able to play at least 7 chords and transition between them). Bring your soprano, concert or tenor uke (no baritone ukes, please) along with a pick and a uke capo to each class. No loaner instruments are available.Instructor: Jeff Saxon

Pre-requisite: Yes, You Can Play the Ukulele! Part 1 or a similar intro-level uke class or be self-taught and know how to play at least 7 chords and transition between them.
