Guitar And Ukulele Lessons With Paris KIng Summer Camp Student Policies Private Music Teacher: Paris King pariskingmusic@gmail.com Fun, Enjoyment and Practice. Learning music and taking lessons should be fun and enjoyable. Most beginning students, especially younger ones, aren’t sure what they think and how they feel about music nor what to expect from music lessons. Beginning students will thus need some encouragement and reminders to practice. I recommend a minimum of three 15-30 minute practice sessions each week outside of our weekly meeting. Private Music Lesson students do not have to be signed up for camp in order to participate in music lessons. Parents must stay in the building until their child's lesson has been completed. Private lessons are $40 per half hour lesson, and $80 per hour lesson. Students are required to bring their own instruments. An amplifier will be provided for electric guitar students. Lesson cancellation within 24 hours may be rescheduled at the private music teacher’s discretion. Private music teacher may suggest learning books and other materials. Parents are responsible for the cost of the books or other materials. Paris will inform parents if or when music materials are necessary.
