Forensic science will explore how science is used to investigate mysteries and solve crimes. Students will develop critical thinking skills and learn about scientific techniques used in the field. This class will include interactive activities that will simulate forensic techniques and deepen the students' understanding of how science is used to support investigations. Students will become detectives and examine evidence to solve investigations. Topics will include fingerprint analysis, scene analysis, trace evidence analysis, chromatography and more.
