About this event
Campers will ride around the Bay to destinations like the Albany Bulb, Berkeley Marina, Point Isabella and more. Bikers will learn: How to ride in line formation How to ride in bike lanes How to keep pace How to look up ahead for obstacles and more In addition, bikers will be able to experience rides through a variety of neighborhoods. They will have a chance to purchase lunch from restaurants, Ice cream parlors, items from bike shops and other venues during each session. Destinations will be posted and emailed to parents one week prior to the start of camp. Requirements: This camp is for bikers who have been riding for several years and they are comfortable riding their bike. Campers must have a bike in good working condition, and the biker should be able to sit and ride comfortably on their bike. Have a bike with 5 or more gears is highly recommended Campers should have at least one or more bike tubes for their specific bike. Carry a saddle bag or backpack Campers must have a proper safety approved helmet that fits the rider correctly. A pump and tire patch kit is recommended
