We're sorry, but this program is over. The last meeting was Sunday, February 12, 2023.
Join us for our 2023 Dare to Tri Series. For $60, you can choose to participate in three of the following events (a $15 savings).
Tackle the Tri – February 12, 2023 (Individual event)* Heats begin at 7:15 am -2000 meter row -2.5 miles Assault bike -1.25 miles running
Why Not Tri – March 26, 2023 (Individual event)* Heats begin at 7:15 am -400 yard swim (Indoors) -2.5 miles Assault bike (Outdoors) -1.5 mile run (Outdoors)
Team Dri Tri – July 30, 2023 (2-person partner event)* Heats begin at 7 am -5000 meter row. Partners alternate every 500 meters -7 miles Assault bike. Partners alternate every .5 mile -1.5 mile run
Tri-It Relay Challenge– September 24, 2023 (2 to 3 person event)* Heats begin at 7am 6 mile bike 3000m row 5k run
Turkey Dri Tri – November 19, 2023 (Individual event)* Heats begin at 7:15 am -2000 meters rowing -2.5 mile Assault bike -1.5 mile run
Series details:
- You will receive a Series long sleeve
- You will receive an event t-shirt for each event that you choose to participate in
- You have three “credits” to be used in the 2023 series
- To use a credit, simply email ksmith@obparks.org three weeks prior to a specific event to let her know that you will be participating (She will send out a number of reminders as well, prior to each event)
- If you plan to use a credit for a partner event and are teaming with another person who is signed up for the series, each of you will use one credit
- If you plan to use a credit for a partner event and are teaming with another person who is NOT signed up for the series, you will use a credit while they will need to contact ksmith@obparks.org to register at the $25 event fee
- Credits may not be shared or transferred to another person
- Once all three of your credits have been used, you may register for any additional events at $25 per person, per event
- There will be no refunds or transfers on unused credits
- Deadline to register is Sunday, February 12th
