DefensePro Taekwondo is offered for participants ages 7 years old to adult. Classes for all groups emphasize fun, fitness, safety and “life skills” such as courtesy, respect, perseverance, and integrity. All classes are suitable for new students or as a continuation from prior programs offered and cover a full range of material and fundamentals suitable to all levels and ranks. Uniforms sold on site by instructor. PLEASE NOTE: Students are no longer grouped by age, so parents and children may now train together!
All participants will be expected to follow all Marin County Health & Human Services Guidelines posted onsite. For more information about current guidelines please email novatofun@novato.org.
Instructor John Wyek is a 5th degree black belt who started teaching martial arts in San Diego in 1988 and has been teaching in Marin County for over 10 years. He has competed in state, national and international tournaments, and is a 7-time Champion.
