Looking for a great opportunity to work with Broadway performers and Casting Industry as you coach two songs and then showcase them in an NYC cabaret, all with the love, support, and fun that you've grown to know working with the BAA family? Look no further than BAA’s April Weekend Workshop and Live Cabaret Experience! Get ready for a full weekend featuring two Saturday Broadway Master Classes, plus an exciting Sunday showcase at Broadway’s beloved Don’t Tell Mama, the premiere cabaret venue in NYC. Come prepared with two (2) two-minute songs (a piece that “introduces you” and is close to your heart, and another “wildcard” piece that might be unexpected or contrasts in style!) and your Master Class instructors will help you discover deeper interpretations of these cuts and create exhilarating performances that will take New York City by storm! Plus - get professionally recorded, HD videos of your performances to use for your reel, website, social media, and more! Celebrate your talent, artistry, and passion in front of an NYC audience, AND receive professional footage of the event! When: Saturday Master Classes → May 20th 10:00am-6:00pm (All ages 10-adult/ Split into 2 Classes) Sunday Cabaret #1→ May 21st 11:00am- 2:30pm (Ages 10-15) Sunday Cabaret#2 → May 21st 2:00pm- 5:30pm (Ages 16-adult) Where: Saturday Master Classes → Ripley-Grier Studios at 520 8th Ave, 17th Fl Sunday Cabaret → Don’t Tell Mama at 343 W 46th St, NY, NY Cost: $499 Early Bird Tuition $599 FullTuition Tuition includes Two Master Classes with a Broadway Star and NY Casting Director Cabaret rehearsal and performance and a professional video recording of your performance! In addition to the tuition cost, there is a small $12 cover charge and a 2 drink minimum required for each person attending the performance at Don’t Tell Mama. Don’t Tell Mama accepts cash only for the cover charge.
