RIOJA QUALITY FACTORS: TERROIR, VARIETY, WINEMAKING (Thursday, February 27) The quality and distinctive personality of the wines of Rioja has traditionally been attributed to three interrelated factors: the soils of the region, the varieties that grow there, and the distinctive winemaking techniques used. In this tasting seminar we will discuss the impact of these three fundamental elements and their role as defining features of Rioja’s greatest wines.
