20. STAR WINEMAKERS IN DEPTH (Thursday, February 20) Some great winemakers work with privileged terroirs while others master the personality of specific grape varieties. But the best of them, make wines that even transcend the potential of the terroirs or varieties they work with. Their deft and artistic touch manifests itself in all the wines they make, opening new paths of expression, creating new wine styles, and transforming the regions they work in. In this seminar we will look at the work of four of the best winemakers in Spain today to delve into the characteristics of their personal style, tasting multiple wines from each of them.
