Description

Help keep Harris Lake clean! Join us for a Big Sweep trash pick-up! Park staff and volunteers will patrol the lake shore and New Hill Holleman Road to clean up litter. Minimum age for this event is 10 and all volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Dress appropriately to get wet and dirty, closed-toe shoes and work gloves are required; long pants, water bottles, and sunscreen/insect repellent are highly recommended. All volunteers must sign the Wake County volunteer release, which will be emailed in advance of the program. Please return the completed release form to the park prior to Big Sweep or arrive at 9:45 am to process the paperwork. Registration for this event is required. Meet at the Park Office for introduction and assignments.

All participants attending must be registered through this online system. No pets except service animals are permitted at programs.
