Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
Delight in the sounds of crystal quartz singing bowls, chimes, and gongs. This sound bath will focus on relaxation and restoration to guide you into a deeply restful state. Come disconnect, breathe, and reconnect. This will be a gentle, but powerfully unique experience located in the dance room with a beautiful view of the water.
Note: Doors will close and class will begin PROMPTLY at 6PM to ensure the integrity of the experience, so attendees should plan on arriving at least a few minutes prior to 6PM. No late entry!
What to bring:
-Yoga mat if you have one, if not, a blanket will do. A pillow if that helps you to be comfortable as we will be on the floor. If you struggle with low back pain, PLEASE bring an extra pillow to support your back
-Bottle of water
-Openness to the experience
What is Sound Bath?
Sound Bath is a guided sound experience where participants comfortably lie (or sit) on the floor with their eyes closed to obtain a relaxed state. A sound session or "sound bath" is referred to as such because of the feeling of being bathed by sound. An experience you must feel to truly believe. The sessions include breath work and listening to a variety of instruments in which frequencies assist the body in activating the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest). Once in this relaxed state, the PNS naturally decreases blood pressure, shows breathing & focuses on internal healing processes.
