Description

Music Circle is an interactive music-making experience designed for people living with dementia and their caregivers. Each week, participants gather to explore a new theme through a variety of engaging musical activities, including singing, movement, rhythm instruments, listening, storytelling, reminiscence, and creative expression.
No musical experience is required. Activities are designed to be accessible, enjoyable, and adaptable to a range of abilities, encouraging everyone to participate in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful.
The class emphasizes wellness, social connection, and shared enjoyment. Through music, participants can strengthen relationships, spark memories, express themselves creatively, and experience moments of joy and accomplishment together. Weekly themes provide opportunities for conversation, discovery, and connection, helping to create a welcoming community where everyone feels valued and included.
