Turn up the volume and spend a few summer evenings making great music with fellow rock fans. This four-evening workshop is designed for adult recreational musicians who want to dig into the energy, creativity, and collaboration that make rock music so exciting.Over the course of the series, participants will play, sing, and rehearse together in a supportive band-style setting. Guided by experienced instructors, you’ll explore classic and contemporary rock repertoire while working on the elements that define the genre—groove, tone, ensemble playing, and stage presence. Sessions include group rehearsals, hands-on workshops, and opportunities to talk about the styles and sounds that have shaped rock music.
Whether you played in a band years ago, are currently taking lessons, or simply want to experience the thrill of making music with others, this workshop offers a welcoming space to plug in and play. The emphasis is on collaboration, creativity, and enjoying the process of making music together.
The series concludes with an informal performance where participants can share what they’ve been working on with friends, family, and fellow musicians.
Bring your instrument, your voice, and your love of rock—and get ready for four nights of great music and great company.
