The NSPCC Milton Keynes Half Marathon has always been a massively popular event in Buckinghamshire since the first inaugural race in 1996.
This annual community event is a vitally important fundraiser for the NSPCC charity. Our race offers our runners a very fast and flat course that is absolutely ideal for runners looking for a personal best time.
The picturesque route takes runners on a single-lap course that includes the beautiful Grand Union Canal and the scenic Willen Lake. Runners can expect plenty of long, flat stretches throughout the race combined with beautiful views and spectacular scenery.
Why Take Part?The support from fundraisers like you will make sure that we can continue to be there for children. We can continue to run our vital services such as Childline which has seen an increase of calls from children and young people because of the pandemic. EVENT DATE: Sunday 02 July 2023
RACE START: 09:00
REGISTRATION:
- Enter before Friday 2nd June at midnight to receive your running number in the post.
- Enter before Monday 22 July at midnight to have your number ready for collection at the Race HQ.
MINIMUM AGE: The minimum age for participants is 17 on race day.

TIMING: This event will be chip timed using state-of-the-art disposable timing chips attached to the reverse of your running number. Sorry, no late starters.
TIME LIMIT: 3 hours 30 minutes
RACE PERMIT: Applied for. The race will be run under UKA rules
ENTERTAINMENT: There will be post-race entertainment. Details to follow.
CAR PARKING: Details to follow.
BAGGAGE: You will be able to leave a small bag at the Race HQ. Please do not leave valuables in your bag.
REFRESHMENTS: There will be a coffee van outside the Race HQ selling hot drinks and snacks.
WATER STOPS: Water will be available at approx miles 3, 7, and 10 miles and again at the finish.
iTAB: You will be able to purchase an iTab when you enter up until 27th May. If you do, it will automatically be posted a few days after the event. You do not need to do anything.
PACE POCKET: You will be able to purchase a Pace Pocket when you enter up until 27th May. Your Pace Pocket will be sent directly to you 7-12 days before the race. Should you change your target time between now and the race, and would like to swap for a different time, please email info@pacepockets.run at least two weeks before race day to advise on your new target time.

REWARDS: All finishers will receive a quality Race Medal and technical t-shirt.
AWARDS: Presentation of the race awards will take place after the race @ 11:15 next to the Race HQ.

- 1st Vet40 / V50 / V60 / V70 /V80 male and female finishers
- The first team of 5 runners (can be mixed) from the same club.
Runners may win more than one award.
