Student Leader(s): Sudeep G. and Ava F. with Dr. Hight Email: john.hight@basisindependent.com Film club is open to students of all skill and experience levels who want to explore and cultivate their interest in making films or working in other visual media. Club members will learn all the steps of making a movie from creating scripts and storyboards to production schedules to filming and editing the final product. We will learn about different camera techniques and the visual and auditory components of video editing. Students will choose how they want to put this new knowledge into action producing short films and longer productions as part of a group. Different groups within the club will do different projects. Participants will also star in their own productions. There is a place for everyone in Filmmaking! At the end of each trimester, the club will have a Film Festival and watch the films made by each group.
