We super excited about the upcoming East Cobb Tri. There will be 3 distances to choose from Olympic, Sprint & Super Sprint for the adults and a Kids Triathlon for children. The swim portion is inside the Mountain View Aquatics Center so we're guaranteed to have great water temps. Awesome shirts & finisher medals for everyone! We'll have awards in the Adult divisions for the Top 3 Overall Male & Female, Top 3 Masters Male & Female. and awards in each Age Group. We'll also be awarding the Top 3 in each Age Group for the kids.
If you're not up for the entire distance solo, grab a friend or two and register as a RELAY & share the F-U-N!

CourseThe swim will be done in the Aquatics Center Pool; The bike leg will be done on the roads around the aquatics center for the adults, and on property and closed roads for the kids. The run will be done on the park grounds and local sidewalks using all paved surfaces.
Estimated Swim Time
Athletes will be placed for the swim start based on their estimated swim time. This will allow the faster swimmers to go first, and keep them from catching the slower swimmers. Please do your best to have an accurate time. You'll need to have your best guess at how long it will take you to complete your entire swim. Swim times will be needed at the time of check-in for body marking. It will save everyone time for you to already know your swim time before Race Day. We will not be able to provide you with a time. =)

Relay TeamsIs the entire distance to much? Don't like one of the segments? Or maybe you can think of no better way to spend a Saturday morning than teaming up with a friend of two to race a triathlon?
If the answer is YES...then put together a relay team. Make sure you all register under the RELAY EVENT and Create/Join your TEAM NAME so we can group you together.
Everyone on the team receives a finisher medal & race shirt, AND...you're put in the running for awards in the team category.
Just sign up in the relay event, and create (or join) a team...it's that easy.
Groups & TeamsGot a Group or part of a Club? Get your Team together for a Group/Team discount after the 10th member registers! Automatic discount will be refunded after the 10th person registers and joins your Team/Group.
Adult Individual Distance = $5.00 refund after 10th member registers under the Group
Kids Individual Distance = $3.00 refund after 10th member registers under the Group
Relay Distance = $5.00 refund after the 10th member registers under the Group.
AwardsAdult Awards:
- All participants will receive a Finisher Medal
- Top 3 Overall Male & Female as well as the Top 3 Masters Male & Female.
- Top 3 Age Group finishers for Male & Female 19 & Under through 75+.
Kids Awards:
- All kids will receive a Finisher Medal.
- Top 3 in each of the Age groups.
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds and will be disqualified.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.

Top Finishers will earn a spot in the Five Star Triathlon Championships to be held on the 1st Weekend in October 2023; to be confirmed.
