This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to act in an emergency until emergency medical services personnel arrive. You will learn and practice adult, child and infant CPR, including AED, and standard first aid skills. Adults who will be serving as the trained First-Aider for troop/group camping trips and other activities listed in the Safety Activity Checkpoints that require a First-Aider should take this course. After registering for this course, a staff person will send you an online code to complete the online learning portion. Codes will be sent once per day Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Attendance at the in-person skills testing session is required for certification. Online coursework must be completed before attending the in-person session. You must bring a printed copy of the Certificate of Completion, as proof that you completed all components of the online portion, to this in-person testing session. Please bring a blanket or sit upon for kneeling on the ground if you want, a water bottle, paper, and a writing utensil. Payment for this registration covers your access to the blended learning course, the in-person skills session, and your certification. Fees are non-refundable. Questions?
