This activity is closed to further registration.
This course builds upon participants knowledge of throwing pottery and provides an increased understanding of ceramic processes. Topics include centering clay, throwing various forms, making handles, and glazing. Sessions include demonstrations and practice time under the guidance of the instructor.
Bring your own clay tools or purchase a tool kit at the LCAC for $20 + tax. Clay must be purchased at the LCAC and is $20 + tax per 25-pund bag. A variety of clays are available.
While enrolled in a pottery course at the LCAC, participants may use the pottery studios during hours of operation outside of scheduled class times.
