*** Class will meet at Ft. Steilacoom Park- Pavilion (8714 87th Ave SW, Lakewood) ***
Experience the simple pleasures of Asian ink painting. With practice, a few brushstrokes evoke images of bamboo, boats, birds, trees, flowers, and Mt. Rainier. Beginners are always welcome. "Supply list Below"If Sumi Art is new to you, come as you are; materials will be available for your use in class.Sumi Art Supplies, Chinese of Japanese brush - medium size Chinese of Japanese "rice" paper (semie sketch pad or practice rolls) Sumi ink in a bottle (inkstick and inkstone, if you prefer) Small container of ink solution Palette or sauce or yoghurt container lid Small container for water Piece of felt, Rag or paper towel for blotting and a Paperweight
