Quilt Block 1: As part of a national program called Quilt & Stitch America 250, students at the Rhein Center, along with hundreds across the country, will learn to sew and assemble a patriotic red, white and blue quilt. The pattern used is called Fireworks Finale. Each class will sew a specific block. By the end of summer you can have a full quilt. For those taking just one class, you'll be given instructions to finish the quilt at home or you may fashion your one quilt block into a pillow. (The pillow requires additional class time and an added fee.) Students must have experience working on a sewing machine, but quilting experience is not necessary.
