About this event
This class will teach the students the fundamentals of acting, building an ensemble, and cooperation. Especially at this young age, we feel it is most important to help them develop self esteem, creativity, focus, and teamwork: skills they can use no matter what path they take as they grow into adulthood. So, we focus on the process, the journey, and the growth, as opposed to the final product. We want to create a safe space for them to explore their creativity, go for it, learn from mistakes, and keep trying! Every day, part of the class will be spent with a guest artist who specializes in a specific performance discipline, so students can try many different creative outlets!
