Do you want to "tech" a show? In this week of tech camp, we’ll be focusing on costume design! Work with a professional costume designer to explore how fun costuming can be through various skill-building activities, exercises, and games. Learn how to design costumes from scratch, use found items to put together a costume, rig quick changes, and how to use a script to inspire your creativity. Each Skills week at Studio East features different classes. Spend a week taking a deep dive into a specific performing arts skill that range from camera work, to onstage skills, to backstage options. At the end of the week, show off your knowledge with an informal performance, fully-edited video, or portfolio of work.
