About this event
This camp is a camper’s ticket to the world of Veterinary Medicine. Your future vet will meet practitioners in the field, and be involved with many hands-on experiments! Each camper will receive his or her very own medical kit! We will also be featuring our CPR Dog in this camp. Learn to use a syringe, and suturing techniques too! Campers will also be involved in three dissection activities: Sheep Heart, Owl Pellet, and Crayfish. Sample Workshop Topics: Animal Behavior; Clinical Procedures; Preparation for a Career in Veterinary Medicine; First Aid and Dentistry Care; Diseases and Parasites, Entomology, Microscopy, and Anatomy & Physiology. This is a camp your aspiring vet will not want to miss!
