Improv Comedy Instructor Christopher Schiavo has over ten years experience studying and performing improv comedy in Los Angeles, including at the renowned Groundlings Comedy Theatre, training ground to such comic performers as Will Ferrell, Phil Hartman, and Melissa McCarthy. Chris performed in a long-form improv group in Los Angeles alongside Eric Stonestreet, star of TV’s “Modern Family.” Chris has also performed and coached comedy groups at Improv Olympic West in Hollywood, California. Here in Jacksonville, Chris has taught improv comedy workshops for Florida Blue and improv comedy classes at the University of North Florida, First Coast Technical College, and The Bolles School.
