Description

This class will include independent and collaborative training in various techniques of watercolor usage as an art medium that requires no previous experience.
The various activities will focus on two main objectives: first, still life rendering of a composition or an object, and second, imaginative expression of various ideas and/or emotions as a visual response to an event, a poem, or a story.
Students will need to bring:1. good-quality watercolor paper2. a set of 24 watercolors3. a set of Prisma color pencils4. a set of small tubes or jars of Primary acrylic colors (Red, Blue, Yellow, black, and white) 5. 6 canvas boards of any size
Both new and returning students are welcome.
Instructor: Dr. Hani Elkadi
Fee: $140; pay the instructor at the first class; a 25% discount is available for low-income members.
