REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025 iRIDE ACADEMY IS NOW FULL
Dates: 06/09/2025 - 06/13/2025 Times: M - F, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Location: Rice University Grades: 6th to 8th Price: $499/week* *Participants will receive a Rice STEM t-shirt! LUNCH INCLUDED! The registration fee includes lunch each day (M-F) at the Rice Cafeteria. A discount will not be provided for students who choose to bring their own lunch. * A $3.00 administrative processing fee will be applied to your registration upon checkout. iRIDE Academy is a hands-on program designed to introduce middle school students to the challenging and diverse field of engineering. The iRIDE summer program on the Rice University campus is conducted over a week-long period during which students are immersed in engineering objectives, processes, and challenges. The Academy's culmination is completing a capstone project that addresses real-world problems directly affecting them and/or their community. While the iRIDE Academy is open to all current (2024-2025 school year) 6th and 7th grade students, the curriculum is also suitable for rising 8th grade students as well.
