We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Saturday, October 7, 2023.
Envision hundreds of glowing water lanterns gently bobbing on the Las Colonias Butterfly pond right after sunset. Each one beautifully decorated with words of hope, memories, or dreams and wishes. Music and aromas from local food trucks fill the air while families and friends decorate their lanterns. In what is sure to be an awe-inspiring sight, the lanterns will all be launched at once! Attendance is free, and water lantern kits, including the lantern, LED tea light, and marker, are $7 each, or six kits for $36. Lanterns cost $9 the day of the event.
