Three IN-PERSON sessions June 3, 10, 17 Discover the history of the Atlanta Botanical Garden Gainesville (celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025) and what makes it unique. What is a botanical garden, and how does it differ from a nature center or a park? Go behind the scenes with members of the Horticulture staff as the course covers the history and development of the Garden. Participate in a special tour of the greenhouse and nursery, including a look at our famous annual display containers and new Edible Garden. This course will be taught by various members of the ABGG Horticulture Staff, from Director to Greenhouse Manager to Senior Horticulturists. Staff are responsible for the development and maintenance of the garden displays and collections on a day-to-day basis, and have years of experience in public gardens.
