Three IN-PERSON sessions March 18, 25, April 1 This course offers a comprehensive overview of key aspects of Chinese society, providing insights into its healthcare system, retirement lifestyle, and some culinary traditions. We will delve into the complexities of China's public and private healthcare sectors, including the role of traditional Chinese medicine. Additionally, we will explore the diverse ways in which Chinese retirees spend their time, from traditional pastimes to modern pursuits. Finally, we will embark on a culinary journey through China, talking about regional cuisines, tea culture, and dining etiquette. This course aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture. Alex Zheng is from China, with a strong interest in sharing aspects of Chinese language, culture, and calligraphy with others.
