Staff advisor: Rangoli Eusebius Email: rangoli.eusebius@basisindependent.com Student Advisor: Diva, Sarah Dates: Wednesday with the first meeting on 9/11 and the last meeting on 4/30 Time: 4:15 PM–5:15 PM Grades: 6–12 Cost: $150 Description: Women in STEM is an international organization dedicated to empowering more women in the STEM field. Similarly, Girls Who Code aims to support aspiring women in STEM, and provide them with the necessary skills & opportunities to enter the computer science field. In our dual WiSTEM/Girls Who Code club, we will be hosting both WiSTEM events, and computer science lectures. Every other week will be a lecture, while the other weeks will contain seminars & panels with alumni, professionals, and other guest speakers, or fun STEM related competitions and/or STEM related workshops. We will provide students with opportunities to network with professionals in the field and join programs that can further computer science journey! Additionally, our club is open to anyone, though we specifically target those who identify as female.
