Dates: 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, with the first meeting on 8/30/22 and the last meeting on 4/18/23 Available Spaces: 25 Cost: $100 Grades: 9-11 Duration: Year-long Time: 4:15 PM - 5:15 PM Location: Upper School Classroom Description: For this year's Physics Club, students will focus on exploring further into common physics topics such as kinematics, orbital mechanics, and special relativity while preparing for upcoming contests such as F=ma/USAPhO, PUPC, and OPhO. Students will be conducting their own physical labs and experiments to better grasp difficult concepts, and lectures will be given on particularly challenging concepts. Through rigorous problem sets and practice tests, students will be able to further solidify their knowledge and improve their understanding of physics as well as the world around us.
