WHAT: Kit Carson Marathon relay, Half Marathon relay & 5K
WHEN: November 19th, 2023 - 9:00am (5K - 8:00am)
WHERE: Kit Carson Park - Escondido Ca.
EVENT CHECK IN: Check in opens at 6:45 am and closes at 7:45am (5K) and All Relay (8:45am)

- Convenient race day check-in only for all entrants (registration and check-in opens at 6:45am)!
- Multiple Marathon team divisions to compete in: Open, Club, School, Corporate, Recreational, and Masters
- Marathon and Half-Marathon Team of 5 Relay (5 teammates - less than 5 allowed. Minimum of 3. See Q&A for details )
- Marathon and Half-Marathon Team of 2 Relay (2 Teammates only)
- Marathon teams run a total of 10 laps
- Half-Marathon teams run a total of 5 laps
- All teams are provided a baton with affixed RFID chips
- Each lap is a scenic 2.62 mile trail/pavement style course, mostly flat with gentle rolling hills
- The course consists of approximately 40% wide smooth trail 60% paved blacktop and sidewalk
- 5K Run (adult and youth age-groups)
- Chip-timed live online results, live onsite screen for laps and times for all relay teams and 5k participant
- Awards for all events, Tech-T shirts, finisher medals and finsher certificates (online and printable)
- Team picnics welcome and dog friendly (keep on leash at all times!)
- Youth activities provided by award-winning teacher "Miss Mary Lou" (See Q&A for details)!
- Save on registration processing fees as only Team Captains need to register on Active.com!
Please note: For all relay teams - only the team captain needs to signup and pay the team fee on the registration site.
So join us for our unique team relay event at one of the most beautiful parks in San Diego County! Our unique team relay course is half-trail / half-paved, has gentle rolling hills and is mostly flat.
