Grandparents’ Day is in September, and we are celebrating with a walk on the wild side. A naturalist from the Carrie Murray Nature Center will introduce us to friendly animal ambassadors and what makes them unique. These up close and personal experiences spark child-like wonder in people of all ages. Grandparents and other special adults are invited to bring their grandchildren aged 4-11 on this day off from school for Howard County students. Then hop outside for a paw-some fitness trail, available to complete before or after the presentation. It will be a hoot! Each child will receive a take-home goodie bag.
