Description

The SUMMER Term Driver’s Education program will provide 30 hours of classroom instruction Monday, June 23 - Friday, June 27, 2025 from 8 am - 2:30 pm (includes a 1/2 hour lunch break each day). Students must attend all classes and if a class is missed, the student will need to make it up in the next session in the Fall. The mandatory parent class will take place on Wednesday, June 25th from 6 - 8 pm. The Driver’s Education program also includes a driving component consisting of 18 hours; 12 hours of in-car, behind-the-wheel training, and 6 hours of in-car experience observing other student drivers. All road practice and observation will take place by appointment with the driving instructor. Students must be 15 years, 9 months by the first day of class to be eligible to enroll. Please note that Activenet charges a 7.2% transaction fee based on tuition for on-line registrations. If you wish to avoid this fee, you may fill out a registration form and check and mail it in to the Before and After Dark office. Drivers Education tuition is non-refundable after June 1, 2025.
