About this event
Try your hand at this traditional Japanese technique that combines earth, wind, and fire to achieve beautiful and unique results. This workshop will encompass two separate Saturdays, as well as studio access in the time between for you to make your own pot, decorate using special glazes, and participate in the raku firing process! Join us for a fun peek into clay history! Apr. 26th, 10am-noon: Building/making your pots. You will have two weeks to finish your piece, have it bisque fired, and then glaze it. May 10th, 9am-1pm: Firing your pieces! You will be able to take home your finished pieces on this day.
