Are you a parent or educator with a desire to learn more about teaching young minds about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math? Sign up for Columbia Memorial Space Center's early childhood STEM education workshop. This workshop is specifically designed for parents and educators of preschool-aged children who want to promote critical thinking and curiosity through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
This specific workshop will focus on introducing STEM and creating STEM lesson plans. By the end of the workshop, you will gain skills on how to teach STEM to preschool-aged children, how to develop STEM activities that are developmentally appropriate for young learners, and the components to an engaging STEM-focused lesson plan. In addition, you will receive sample lesson plans and open-ended questions geared towards young learners along with additional resources to help you on your journey.
Lunch will be provided for all registrants.Free Admission to the Space Center is included with registration. Pre-registration is required.
