Description
The Ohio State Reformatory, located in Mansfield, Ohio, was built between 1886 and 1910 and operated until 1990. Originally designed to rehabilitate young offenders, it is now a popular tourist attraction known for its architectural beauty and as a filming location for “The Shawshank Redemption”. This trip begins with a delicious lunch buffet at Der Dutchman, included with your registration. There will be time for shopping at both venues. Activity Level 2.
Day Trip registrants receive a confirmation email approximately one week prior to the trip date with final details, including exact departure time.

Activity Levels
Level 1: Minimal walking/standing, may include some steps.
Level 2: Moderate walking/standing, may include stairs and/or uneven terrain.
Level 3: Lots of walking/standing for multiple hours, may include flights of stairs and/or uneven terrain.
Level 4: Extensive walking, more than 5 miles, includes climbing stairs or hilly walkways and/or extended weather exposure.
