Cookies! Cakes, ice cream and more! Do you love baking? We do too! Join us for this fun baking class where we’ll not only bake delicious sweet goodies but also learn about the history and origin of our baked goods and create our own recipe books. We’ll also cover some introductory entrepreneurship concepts, such as cost and profit in a bakery business. You’re sure to have fun and become more confident with your baking skills through this class. Athenian Student After School Enrichment Leaders apply to teach in our program, and complete training where they learn the basics of lesson planning, facilitation skills, youth engagement and materials management. Throughout the Winter Enrichment session they will have support from the After School Enrichment team as needed. They are thrilled to offer this course to Athenian and non-Athenian younger students. (no classes 1/15, 1/24)
