City of Daly City – Department of Recreation Services After School Youth Recreation Program (AYRP) Hosted at Junipero Serra Elementary School The Afterschool Youth Recreation Program (AYRP) provides students with a safe, nurturing, healthy, and welcoming environment. Students receive homework assistance, healthy snacks, and participate in engaging activities that support academics, youth development, and recreation. AYRP is held Monday – Friday from school dismissal until 5:30 PM, including minimum days. Grades: Kindergarten – 5th Grade Time: School Dismissal – 5:30 PM Program Pricing for 2026-2027 School Year* TK/ Kindergarten: $1,335/ $445 per Trimester *Registration covers the full school year, and you may choose to pay in full or by trimester, with trimester payments due two weeks before the start of each new trimester, and failure to submit payment by the due date may result in loss of program placement. FREE Program Option (ELOP Eligibility) Some families may qualify for FREE after-school care through the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP). To determine eligibility, families must complete the Free & Reduced Price Meals Application for the South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD). Completing this application helps determine if your student qualifies for: - Free after-school care through ELOP - Additional student support services - Expanded school resources Even though school meals are free for all students at Junipero Serra, this application is still required to determine eligibility for ELOP.
