Summer Splashtacular 2023
Join us for this FREE water safety event to kick-off Summer 2023 at Covington Aquatic Center! Saturday, June 17, 2023, 1-3pm
Event Schedule:
1:00pm-2:00pm – Guided Water Safety Stations ft. Search & Rescue and King County Fire
2:00pm-3:00pm – Public Swim
Special Event Rules:
- Participants under 6 years old must have an adult in the water, within arm’s reach at all times. All participants must be pre-registered.
- Only pre-registered participants wearing their wrist band are allowed on the pool deck. All spectators must remain in the spectator area. If a child needs the be accompanied during the event, the guardian must register to participate.
- All participants under age 15 must complete and pass a swim test to be allowed in the deep end without a lifejacket.
- Upon check-in, participants will receive a Water Safety Passport. Participants must participate in safety stations, and answer the questions inside. Once it is completed, they can return it for a chance to win a prize.
- Our priority is patron safety. No shoulder-riding, running, or rough-play will be allowed anywhere inside the facility.
