Description
In this Introduction to Knitting, participants will learn everything they need (and more) to get started with knitting. We will provide a small amount of yarn and needles to get participants started with the basic skills. Based on their ability to practice at home, students should be ready to plan their first project roughly by week 3. We will cover the process of selecting projects and purchasing needed materials, but those materials will not be provided. Procuring these additional materials will be required in order for participants to continue to expand their skills beyond the basics. At the conclusion of this 10-week course, participants will be prepared to pursue their curiosity and to continue to advance their skills within this age-old craft.
