About this event
Farm to Table with Mrs. Evans Be part of the design and cultivation of our first-ever schoolyard tropical food forest at NBPS. In this hands-on tropical adventure, participants will dig into the joys of growing and eating fresh food. Gardeners will sample delicious tropical fruits, and plant and cultivate the very same types of fruit trees and plants they taste. Students will be empowered as they bring their tropical food forest design plans to life in the spaces they play and learn each day! The adventure continues as each participant plants tropical foods in pots to take home, inspiring their very own farm-to-table journey. Each young gardener will also receive a gardening kit. With fun and engaging activities, this class is more than just an experience—it’s a journey we hope will impact your child for a lifetime.
