Rediscover the joy of playing piano in this encouraging class for advanced beginner and intermediate adult students returning to the instrument after many years. The Suzuki method, adapted for adult learners, helps you reconnect with fundamental skills through engaging repertoire, listening, and positive reinforcement. Note reading is reviewed and reinforced, helping students refresh skills while gaining greater fluency and confidence at the piano. Learning in a group creates motivation, community, and a shared sense of accomplishment as students grow together. Participants may also have the opportunity to share their progress in a casual, supportive performance at the end of the semester. Suzuki Piano School, Book 1 (with CD) is included in the tuition; additional materials may be added as appropriate.
If this is your first enrollment of the school year in the Center for Music (September-June), a non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment ($35 for a single registrant, with a cap of $50 per family).
