Description

The Adult Beginner Steel Drum Ensemble is for students who are new to the instrument and want to play in a group setting. Participants will learn steel pan techniques, ensemble playing skills, and rhythmic coordination. No prior experience with steel drums or music reading is required. If you do not own your own steel drum, they will be available at TMS for practice during normal business hours.
If this is your first enrollment of the school year in the Center for Music (September-June), a non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment ($35 for a single registrant, with a cap of $50 per family).
