About this event
Middle School Model UN Objectives: The students will be able to form a debate on world issues. The students will be able to analyze world problems and solve these issues from the perspective of a world ambassador. The students will be able to analyze primary and secondary sources. Course Description: We will be looking at what the United Nations does, and how it works. We will be analyzing different issues and crises, and forming debates about these topics from the perspective of a UN ambassador. We will be addressing topics such as climate change, world food shortages, gender equality, and more. We will be researching how different countries are acknowledging these different issues and then using that knowledge to form a debate.
